Sohan Qadri

Sohan Qadri, an Indian origin Artist based in the Netherlands was revered as a fine imagist and master colourist. He was known for creating Tantrik images though he did not confine himself to tantra and frequently created works that lured the viewer with engaging form and very vibrant colours. Combining spirituality and art, Sohan Qadri invokes a vision of meditative tranquility through vibrant motifs in his paintings. Often eschewing conventional paint mediums, Qadri is known to create ink and dye works on paper that evoke the rich colours of India. His paintings are an amalgamation of Tantric imagery and late modernist minimalism, earning him the title of the “Tantric Yogi Artist”
